Buzztag was struggling to get conversions from their website. Most of their sales were coming from referrals and repeat business–with much of their marketing and sales emphasis placed on attracting new leads to the site, they needed a new strategy for driving conversions. They first sought out InboundAV’s help to set up a CRM through HubSpot and implement Marketing and Sales Hub tools, strategy, and automations.
InboundAV's initial goal with every client is simple: understand the company's challenges and suggest an immediate solution. We dig deep into the customers’ needs to gain a thorough understanding of the specifics and expect that other areas of the business may be impacted, necessitating an expansion of information discovered in those areas. During this process for Buzztag, we found that a CRM implementation was not all that they needed. After multiple discussions, we came up with a comprehensive project divided into several phases. This was the beginning of our partnership with Buzztag, which has been ongoing for over a year.
Phase 1 entailed rebranding and revamping Buzztag’s website. While boosting web traffic is certainly an important factor, in this case, the effectiveness of doing so would have been minimal without capturing Buzztag's visitors or nurturing their leads through the sales funnel. The only measure of success would be achieved by engaging Buzztag's visitors. This was the first step–persuade new and old users to engage more with Buzztag’s content, while monitoring interactions with their site. The goal was to ensure that Buzztag’s brand was convincing users to interact with its offerings and giving them value.
Website visitor engagement rates for Buzztag’s website this year are green compared to the last period. Bounce rate decreased by 12.49%: from 42.88% down to 37.53%. The website is now persuading visitors to view more pages and continue deeper into the website. The average number of pages viewed per user’s session has gone up to 4.29% and the average session duration has increased by 176.31%: from 00:00:31 to 00:01:25. These numbers provide evidence that Buzztag has, in the period since partnering with InboundAV, been providing seamless customer experience across its website. As a result, they are able to deliver a process completely tailored and relevant to each customer’s lifecycle journey. Form submissions skyrocketed by 216.67% in the first three months since the website revamp. Indeed, this initial phase was the first step to reconnecting their digital presence to their real-world interactions with customers.
